Artist Terra Poirier’s work entitled Memory Block will be featured in The Lind Prize Exhibition at Presentation House Gallery. She’s chosen a few lines from a story I shared with her to be a part of the latest version of this installation piece and the accompanying artist’s book. Memory Block includes stories and photographs from Commercial Drive, past and present, and reflects on gentrification. The opening is Friday, April 7th, at 7 pm and will be on display until April 28th. Check it out if you’re in Vancouver.
